The Reserve – Metal Work In Ivins

Our most recent metal work project in Ivins featured just about every style of work we provide for homeowners.

Depending on the project and the style of the home, we can find our team tasked with installing just one or two items like a chimney cap, or a range hood. Or, a homeowner can decide they want metallic accents running throughout the home. We’ll add metallic touches to their sconces, fascias, chimney caps, gates, and even entire walls or outdoor ceilings covered in long aluminum sheeting called longboard.

This amazing home in the Reserve in Ivins, Utah featured our metal work in the sconces, the chimney caps, longboard covering the front of the three-car garage, the gates, and the fascias.

This custom home in the Reserve neighborhood of Ivins featured a striking focal point covering the entire garage. The exterior walls are wrapped in aluminum detailed with a wood grain pattern. It creates a warm, yet inviting look to the home and is the first accent visitors and the homeowner encounter upon arrival at the home,

In addition to providing a striking look to the home, these panels are designed to last a lifetime and continue to provide the same protection and .look for decades to come.

This particular home is surrounded by black lava rocks that contrast quite well with the custom metal work we created for this build from Splitrock Custom Homes.

In addition to the longboard accent on the garage, we added custom sconces, chimney caps, and fascias.

The custom sconces have clean lines that mimic the perpendicular lines of the roof and the rest of the home. Often it can be a challenge to choose the right sconces for a build – we have dozens of custom designs to choose from. But these sconces were a perfect choice to accent the outdoor lighting of the home.

In addition, we added matching chimney caps and fascias to the entire home. These helped to continue the clean lines and sharp look to the home.

The jagged black lava rock formations at the Reserve in Ivins create a dramatic and active landscape. Clean, straight lines set low to the ground offset the chaos of shapes and flows the lava creates. Our metal work contrasts the Ivins landscape in the same way the clean lines of the home do. Straight lines and perpendicular angles stand out and complement the drama of the black lava.

At the same time, the deep red colors of the longboard match the reds of the Red Mountain in Ivins that rise over nearly every home in this corner of Utah. The contrast and the coordination combine to make a bold statement.

It’s always a treat to see how these gorgeous homes set in such a dramatic landscape compliment their natural surrounding.

Like the adobe homes of old they lie flat and set into the dram with grace.
