Coppertop On Display in the 2024 St. George Area Parade of Homes
Every February, the St. George Area Parade of Homes showcases the work of the best homebuilders in southern Utah. And every February, Coppertop Metals is involved with several projects with those homebuilders.
In the 2024 St. George Area Parade of Homes there were 25 homes on display and Coppertop worked on adding metallic touches to six of those homes. We installed the usual chimney caps, fascia, sconces, gates, and range hoods, but we also installed several custom pieces of artwork as well.
The Payton Lynn
The Payton Lynn by K.H Traveler Custom Homes was the first stop on the 2024 Parade of Homes route.
This spectacular home featured our metal work in several locations.
We created brass thresholds in the master bedroom, the kitchen and several rooms in the home.
We also fabricated the custom chimney caps on the roof and the sconces covering the exterior lighting of the home.
Curated Repose
Anderson Custom Homes entry in the 2024 Parade of Homes, Curated Repose was just a few doors down from the Payton Lynn and the second stop on the parade.
It was a little more difficult to spot our work in this home, especially if you visited in the evening as we created just the chimney caps in this beautiful home.
But if you stood out by the spectacular pool and looked up…
Encore
Encore was the Adams and Company entry in the 2024 Parade of Homes, and the third stop on the parade. It was also located in Stone Cliff and was just a few hundred yards around the corner from the first two stops.
Our involvement in this project was quite substantial. We wrapped the metal pillars along the front driveway and next to the pool. We installed hundreds of feet of fascia around the whole home and we created the custom chimney caps. We also created a custom footplate for the island in the kitchen. A subtle touch but we thought it added a wonderful feel to the main living space.
White Bluffs
White Bluffs was the fourth stop on the 2024 Parade of Homes, but at this point, the parade left Stone Cliff and headed out into Washington Fields to Crimson Ranch just a few blocks away from Crimson Cliffs High School.
This was another amazing home (aren’t they all really?) built by Jensen + Sons Construction where we provided custom fascia, chimney caps, and stair risers. The out door space around the pool was a fantastic showcase of our work but we were also proud of the stair risers that connected the lounge area to the kids play area in the loft towards the back of the home.
Rosemary
The next stop on 2024 St. George Area Parade of Homes showcasing our work was Rosemary.
Located in Desert Color and built by Split Rock Custom Homes, this three-story vacation home featured our work on the third-floor outdoor sitting area. We created a custom hood for the outdoor fireplace and a chimney cap to adorn the top.
Watching the kids play in the lagoon and enjoying a beverage from this vantage point would be an amazing highlight to a vacation in southern Utah.
Valhalla
The final stop on the 2024 St. George Area Parade of Homes where our work was on display was the Valhalla. We worked with the builder, Markay Johnson Construction on several pieces of artwork within the home connected to the Nordic heritage of the homeowner. Most spectacularly, we created a Nordic Compass for the sitting area below the pool in the back yard.
We also crafted custom artwork for doors hiding the electronics for the televisions in the main living spaces upstairs and downstairs. We crafted the custom range hood in the kitchen. We created a custom Yin Yang mirror in the exercise room on the lower floor. And we created hammered stair risers connecting the upper and lower levels.
We were very excited to be able to showcase so much of our work in this spectacular home.
